Power On Pads
Did you know you can power on your MacBook without pressing the power button? This is important because the power button is connected to (or part of) the keyboard, so when a laptop suffers damage and the keyboard is not functional, the power button becomes useless, even though you might still have a perfectly working board! To troubleshoot the board, pull the keyboard ribbon cable (which can prevent powering on if connected), and then bridge the power-on pads with metal tweezers or a small flathead screwdriver. If the laptop powers on, you have a bad power button/keyboard and most likely a good logic board!
