Hi Trevor! Thanks for the post. From searching some message boards, it appears a lot of people have found success with this problem by removing the battery for 30 minutes to an hour, and then re-connecting it and powering on. Apparently there's a bad setting that clears itself when the device doesn't have power for an extended period. Others have reported success re-loading the OS, and if none of this helps and it's still under warranty, it sounds like you can call your provider and get it swapped.
Unfortunately no, I wasn't able to find many other solutions...have you tried reinstalling the OS? Is it under warranty, and therefore could you have your provider swap it out for a working one?
Were you doing anything specific when the screen turned white?
No i havent tried to install the os how and where do i get them can you give me links no the warranty is up no i wasent doing any thing when it went white
Hi Trevor! Unfortunately I haven't installed the OS on a Blackberry in years, so I don't have any specific information. I'd suggest Googling "xxxx os reinstall", where "xxxx" is the model of your Blackberry.
I'd also give your provider a call, even though it is out of warranty, because they have a vested interest in your phone being functional and they may help you, or let you know about offers available to you. You can also call RIM (Research In Motion), the manufacturer of the Blackberry.
